In Addition to Membership - Volunteers and Donations Are Needed!
The Loon Lake Community Association is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and has only two sources of income: our modest dues and additional donations from our membership.
In addition to water quality testing, invasive species monitoring, and other responsibilities, the LLCA owns the property where Beach A (swim area) and Beach B
(boat launch area) are located and maintains them on behalf of all Loon Lake deeded rights holders.
Our resources are very limited and we have plans to improve our shared beaches and to preserve and protect Loon Lake. We hope you'll consider making additional contributions from time
to time to support our projects and that you will volunteer some of your time to our projects,
especially if you use the swim beach and/or the boat launch.

Development Defense Legal Fund - Donations to the Development Defense Fund are used to pay legal expenses associated with efforts to minimize the impact
of real estate development or changes in land use, of land with deeded access to Loon Lake, so that the quality of Loon Lake's ecosystem, areas of common access around
the lake, a sense of community are maintained.

Docks Issue Resolution Legal Fund - Donations to the Docks Issue Legal Fund are used to pay legal expenses associated with defending the lake access rights
of everyone with deeded access to the Boat Launch Area (Beach B) and the LLCA's legal responsibility to protect the assets of the association from the current
encroachment by the owners of six private docks.

Invasive Species/Water Quality Fund - Donations to the Invasive Species/Water Quality Fund are used to pay for monitoring for Aquatic Invasive Species and
water quality monitoring. In addition, it would fund a prompt eradication effort if any aquatic invasive species are ever found in Loon Lake.
